Does your child express thoughts verbally, but have trouble writing them down? Is your child struggling with math concepts and the new Common Core requirements?
Power Up Writing: provides concrete strategies and techniques to improve writing, using several hands-on, creative, engaging projects. Through these fun activities, students learn the mechanics of editing, proofreading, and polishing written work. Graphic organizers and templates are used to sequence ideas. Paragraph formation is taught in a step-by-step manner. This is combined with:
Power Up Math: a hands-on interactive math class, in which students learn through effective, multisensory methods and fun Common Core math activities. Students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and improve their basic skills and confidence. They also work on improving accuracy and speed of their computations.
