Presenter: Betsy Alper, LISCW is a clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience working with children, families, and adults. Through her professional work and personal experiences, she has discovered that one size does not fit all when it comes to helping families affected by ADD/ADHD. Success occurs when families and individual work with tools that fit their unique needs. From this realization, her company A.D.D. Description: This workshop provides educators with an understanding of the vast diversity of symptoms associated with ADHD and often co-existing conditions. Participants will gain skills and strategies help students to experience success with challenges associated with ADHD including time management, organization, difficulty with transitions as well as hyperactivity and impulsivity.
