Anxiety is an emotion that all children experience, but for some, it becomes a problem that disrupts their learning and social development. Please join us for an interactive informative workshop with Dr. Jennifer Jencks to discuss how to identify symptoms of anxiety in your child, how to address symptoms of anxiety related to academic and social situations, and how to understand the interplay between learning style differences and treatment for anxiety. Anxiety is treatable–come learn some basic strategies to help your child both at home and in school.

Dr. Jennifer Jencks is currently the Director of the Access Center at Bradley Hospital and the Assistant Director of Lifespan’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Emergency Services. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in private practice treating children and adolescents with anxiety spectrum disorders. Jennifer received her MSW from Smith College, an SSW in 1995 and her PhD. in 2012. Jennifer is also a RITES board member who has been an integral part of our success.
