Summer Math Programs 2010 - Intensive | Individual Tutorials

We offer math programs to suit the different needs of our summer students.

Our daily three-week course is an intensive program for students who need to strengthen their foundational math skills and who may be diagnosed with specific learning differences associated with number sense, computational difficulties, planning, and organization.

Our individual tutorial sessions are designed to improve skills while fitting into busy summer schedules.

Does your child express thoughts verbally, but have trouble writing them down? Is your child struggling with math concepts?

This course provides concrete strategies and techniques to improve writing. Students learn the mechanics of editing, proofreading and polishing written work. Graphic organizers and templates are used to sequence ideas. Paragraph formation is taught in a step-by-step manner.

Additionally, this is a hands-on interactive math class, in which students learn through effective multisensory methods and fun activities. Students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and improve their basic skills and confidence. They also work on improving accuracy and speed of their mathematical computations.
